I just had to share this recipe with you. Wouldn’t it be great if you could enjoy a chocolate truffle that is plant based and good for you?
Not only do these scrumptious chocolate dipped truffles pretty they are healthy! There is nothing better than sinking your teeth into a soft chocolate truffle- insanely delish! Don’t you love the idea that you can enjoy a decant chocolate truffle with sea salt and know that it is packed with healthy protein. It’s a perfect snack or desert.

- 8 medjool dates, pitted and soaked (use code CACAO15 for 15% off)
- 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder (use code CACAO20 for 20% off)
- 1/3 cup almond butter
- 2 chocolate bars
- flakey sea salt
Pit and soak dates for 20-30 minutes. Dates buy here.
In a food processor, add dates almond butter and Sprout protein powder. Mix until well combined scraping the edges if needed.
Roll mix into balls of desired size.
Let set in freezer for at least 20 minutes.
In a double boiler melt chocolate and coat balls. Top with sea salt before chocolate hardens!
Place back in freezer for 10 minutes to set.
Enjoy and store in fridge!
