The following is comprehensive guide for summer skin recovery. Fall is the time to change our skincare routine and start the rejuvenation process.

1. Cleanse and Exfoliate

Summer leaves behind dead skin cells and excess oil. The first step is to cleanse your skin with a gentle cleanser that suits sensitive skin types—this gets rid of the grime without stripping your skin’s natural moisture. You will have healthy glowing skin after you exfoliate.

For exfoliation, go for a gentle exfoliator with beta hydroxy acids like salicylic acid or glycolic acid to remove dead skin cells and boost collagen production. Exfoliate 2-3 times a week to maintain balance.

The last thing you want to do during fall is apply harsh, skin-stripping ingredients. These products can rob your skin of any remaining moisture, making it more prone to dryness and dehydration.
