My microneedling with exosomes therapy review with photos

In my never-ending quest for flawless skin (cue the eye rolls), I’ve been looking for optimal ways to improve my skin. I was lucky enough to be introduced to microneedling with exosomes therapy.

In this blog post, I am sharing my microneedling with exosomes therapy review including photos. Learn all about the benefits of microneedling with exosomes in this detailed post.

I have had two treatments with Nikki at Phase Plastic Surgery and Longevity Clinic in Seattle. I am pleased with the results I am sharing with you today.

My Longevity Work-Up With A Photo Age Clock

During a longevity work-up with Dr. Baxter, he used an innovative approach by capturing a photo of my face and processing it through the cutting-edge photoage clock.

After evaluating my skin and the Photoage Clock results, he recommended microneedling with exosomes (over platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatments).

Since then, we have been tracking my skin’s pore size, skin firmness, fine lines, skin texture and scars etc. See the photo above with my baseline photo in June 2023.

The PhotoAge Clock

The photo age clock via Haute Ai visually tracks your skin’s aging based on wrinkles, fine lines, sunspots, and texture. It provides insights into the effects of factors like sun exposure and lifestyle choices, helping you tailor skincare routines and treatments for a more informed approach to anti-aging.

This revolutionary technology goes beyond a simple photo. It offers you personalized suggestions for cosmetic products that are customized to meet your specific requirements and providing a genuine analysis of your skin. I received an in-depth report from Dr. Baxter that not only included photos but also a written report.

Today I am sharing my results after two exosome treatments.

What Are Exosomes?

Exosomes, often referred to as “cellular messengers,” are small vesicles that play a crucial role in cell communication. When integrated into microneedling, exosomes enhance the skin’s natural healing processes and stimulate collagen production.

What sets exosome with microneedling apart is its ability to deliver growth factors and regenerative signals directly into the microchannels created by the microneedling process. This not only accelerates the healing response but also promotes the generation of fresh, healthy skin cells. The result is a comprehensive and advanced treatment that offers impressive rejuvenation with minimal downtime.

As a new frontier in cosmetic dermatology, exosome with microneedling showcases the potential to elevate skincare to unprecedented levels, providing individuals with a non-invasive and highly effective solution for achieving radiant and revitalized skin.

What is Microneedling?

Microneedling, also referred to as collagen induction therapy, enhances the appearance of scars, wrinkles, age spots, and acne scars, resulting in a smoother and more youthful complexion. This minimally invasive treatment involves minimal downtime.

Discover the anti-aging and skin-rejuvenating advantages of microneedling with exosomes. This dermatological procedure uses a micro-needle device resembling a pen with tiny needles to create micro punctures in the skin.

Wound-Healing Process Produces Collagen

These minute facial injuries stimulate the body’s natural wound-healing process, prompting the production of elastin and collagen. Elastin and collagen are inherent proteins responsible for maintaining smooth and youthful skin. Microneedling stimulates collagen and elastin synthesis, enhancing skin appearance.

While doctors commonly apply this skin rejuvenation treatment to the face, they also employ it on other body areas such as the legs and back.

What Conditions Does Microneedling with Exosomes Treat?

Microneedling is highly effective in addressing various medical and skin conditions, including:

  • Acne scarring
  • Burns
  • Large pores
  • Hyperpigmentation (undesired pigmentation)
  • Scars
  • Sun damage and sunspots
  • Stretch marks
  • Wrinkles and fine lines
  • Uneven skin tone and texture

The Microneedling Magic:

Microneedling, a cosmetic procedure involving the use of small needles to create microscopic channels ’s surface, has long been recognized for its role in collagen induction therapy.

When microneedling is combined with exosome therapy, the treatment reaches the next level, offering a powerful solution for skin concerns, such as acne scars, pore size, and the appearance of fine lines.

Why Choose Exosome Microneedling?

  1. Collagen Induction Therapy at Its Best:The collaboration of tiny needles and exosomes stimulates the production of new collagen, promoting tissue regeneration and delivering long-lasting results.
  2. Tailored for Various Skin Types:Suitable for diverse skin types and tones, exosome microneedling addresses specific concerns, including sun exposure, age spots, and unhealthy cells, offering a personalized approach to skincare.
  3. Clinical Proven Rejuvenation:Backed by clinical trials, exosome microneedling stands out as a clinically-proven skin rejuvenation treatment, ensuring noticeable improvements and a more youthful appearance.

My Microneedling with Exosomes Therapy Process:

During the procedure, Nikki applied a numbing cream to ensure comfort. The numbing cream sits on your face while you take a short nap.

After I was all numb, Nikki washed the numbing cream off my face and prepped my skin for the treatment

With small stroked of the microneedling pen, minute punctures on the surface of the skin were created. Subsequently, a serum or gel containing exosomes was applied to the treatment area to permeate the channels established by the microneedling process. The treatment was not painful just spicy in some areas.

Integrating exosomes is crucial, as they cannot permeate the skin without the micro-punctures induced by the microneedling pen. Therefore, these two treatments must be administered concurrently.

After the procedure, doctors recommend refraining from applying any products to the skin for a period of 24 hours.

What You Look Like After The Treatment

Immediate post-treatment (see photo above), I was bright red but three hours later I was just pink. By the next morning, I was only slightly pink with a bit of bruising.

Few days following my treatment, I had minimal peeling around my mouth areas.

One of the key advantages of microneedling with exosomes is the prompt emergence of noticeable results. Microneedling and exosomes can enhance the skin’s healing process, resulting in increased firmness and youthfulness.

Additionally, fine lines and wrinkles may appear diminished, and there could be enhancements in skin tone and texture. These improvements typically become more prominent in the weeks following the treatment, as the skin generates new collagen and elastin.

How Does The Skin Look In The Long Term?

In the long term, the treatment offers lasting benefits observable up to six weeks post-treatment. Over time, fine lines and wrinkles may further decrease, and the regeneration of skin cells may result in improved elasticity and firmness.

Beyond cosmetic benefits, the procedure may contribute to overall skin health and potentially aid in managing inflammatory conditions such as psoriasis or atopic dermatitis, subject to assessment by a dermatologist.

What’s The Difference Between Exosome Treatment and a Vampire Facial?

Both PRP therapy and exosome facial rejuvenation treatments are effective anti-aging options, leveraging natural tissue-building substances. They share the ability to address hair loss, causing targeted application to the scalp.

Although they share similarities, there are notable differences between the two. Consider the following aspects when weighing PRP versus exosomes:

  1. Level of Invasiveness:
    • PRP involves a blood draw and facial injections in a clinical setting.
    • In contrast, topical exosome products can be easily applied to the skin at home without discomfort.
  2. Speed of Results:
    • Exosome treatment typically enhances skin appearance and health after just one or two applications.
    • PRP injections may require three to six treatments to achieve comparable results.
  3. Inflammation-Fighting Ability:
    • Exosomes possess anti-inflammatory properties, contributing to improved skin health and wellness by combating inflammation.
    • PRP does not offer this specific anti-inflammatory benefit.
  4. Diversity of Growth Factors:
    • A standard PRP injection delivers a maximum of 12 growth factors to the skin.
    • Exosome treatment provides a more robust impact, delivering an impressive 380 growth factors.
  5. Consistency of Results:
    • The effectiveness of PRP therapy can differ between individuals, with age being a key factor in the end result.
    • Exosome treatment shows consistent efficacy across individuals of all ages.

Understanding these differences will help individuals make informed choices between PRP and exosome treatments based on their preferences and desired outcomes.

Is Microneedling with Exosomes Safe?

Microneedling with exosomes is deemed a safe and effective cosmetic treatment suitable for a broad range of individuals seeking expedited skin improvement. As with any cosmetic procedure, it is advisable to consult with a board-certified dermatologist to discuss individual needs and concerns prior to undergoing the treatment.

For those interested in micro needling with exosomes, scheduling a consultation with a experienced professional that stores the exosomes properly.

Exosomes, often derived from mesenchymal stem cells or human stem cells, are then applied to the treatment area. This innovative approach enhances the absorption of exosomes, maximizing their potential in addressing various skin concerns.

Post-Treatment Benefits:

  1. Skin Health Boost: Exosomes contribute to cellular turnover, aiding in the regeneration of skin and promoting overall skin health.
  2. Youthful Radiance: With the advanced form of exosome therapy, expect a more youthful appearance, as the treatment supports the body’s immune system and encourages the regeneration of skin.
  3. The treatment’s final results show a notable decrease in scar visibility, enhanced skin tone, and enduring outcomes that show the effectiveness of exosome microneedling.
