Kyle Richards of RHOBH Opens New Store On El Paseo
It was an happening night as Kyle Richards joined by her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Gal Pals and former co-star Teddi Mellencamp, in a big party in celebration of the Kyle + Shahida boutique, which is located at The Gardens on El Paseo shopping center. I happened to be right there in the middle of the excitement.
Fashion Designer Shahida Clayton and reality star from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle Richards, debuted their new clothing line, Kyle and Shahida, in during New York Fashion Week.
Who is Shahida?
Shahida established herself as a successful designer in 2003, manufacturer and distributor for private labels of major retailers around the globe. In just a few years, Shahida’s dream for designing her clothing collection came to life, and she launched SHAHIDA PARIDES – a glamorous resort and contemporary collection.
The line included her modern take on traditional kaftans, halter dresses and included her signature digital prints, bold solids, and simple chic separates. Sexy, comfy and bright designs flood the store. The fabric so silky you just want to touch everything.

November 5th Grand Opening Event
As I was standing close to the store, The Bravo star walked and talked as she took a live video of herself walking into her new store in Palm Desert, California.
In Instagram Live, Kyle told fans that she is opening a new store in Palm Desert, and she hinted that some famous friends were with her for the grand opening. I had already been told that all of the Beverly Hill Housewives were making an appearance at the grand opening as part of an TV episode schedule for this Spring.
Kyle shared “I’m really excited to share with you, and that may or may not be a camera crew behind me, “Kyle said. “What’s happening tonight… I’m opening a store. I have a store again! We are doing an opening tonight with some friends of mine—some you may know.”
The Kyle + Shahida store is located in the Gardens on Paseo shopping center in Palm Desert. The store now carries one-of-a-kind matchless, high-tech natural materials, with unique and precious touch and feel.
In her video, Kyle also suggested that while she will start out just selling the Kyle + Shahida line at her Palm Desert boutique, she plans to add other brands to her inventory in the future.
The real housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards owns a large house in La Quinta with husband Mauricio Umansky, which is why the location of the new brick and mortar store made so much sense for the designer to be in Palm Desert. The home is supposed to feel much like a luxury resort.
All The Details
All the real housewives from Beverly Hills made a grand appearance as they walked down the long corridor with TV cameras following every move. The group of cameramen and camerawomen were everywhere, the security was tight, and the crowd was small on as designed.
The grand opening of Kyle and Shahida included a red carpet rollout to welcome the queens of bravo. It looked like the ultimate girls’ trip from LA to Palm Desert.
As I spoke with some of the camera crew, they shared that Kyle’s new venture has been good for her and extraordinary fashion pieces. The reality show came to life as the producer and crew shot a new upcoming episode at the physical store as each housewive shopped the latest collection of Kyle and Shahida.
The drama-filled cast of beautiful characters included Erika Girardi, Lisa Rinna, Sutton Stracke, Crystal Kung Minkoff, Dorit Kemsley, Garcelle Beauvais, and family members Richards’ siblings are Kathy Hilton (born 1959), her older half-sister from her mother’s first marriage to Lawrence Avanzino, and Kim Richards (born 1964),
The Gal Pals seemed to be having a good time despite the high heels that were kicked off as they sat outside and waited for all the wives to head to the next destination.. Kyle’s home to continue filming the tv series episode. It all looked so exhausting to tell you the truth.
My Shopping Experience
So, my mom and I shopped in the store the first day it was open , and we were impressed with the lush colors and soft fabrics. We were laughing because there were no prices on any items. They had not priced anything yet.
We said ” yeah! The’re free! .” They had to laugh since they were embarrassed that they were not yet prepared to sell any items.
I quickly found some items I really loved. They pulled them aside for me and promised they would call me with prices and when I could pick them up. Here are a few below:
