Holiday Wishes From Our Home To Yours.

Christmas Eve at my Mom’s Hous

Happy Holidays from our home to yours…

How was your Christmas? Are you taking time to rest up? The day after Christmas in a very quiet day in our house. A little of cleaning up and a nap…. a great day to sit back and be thankful for the busy holiday season. Happy Holidays from our home to yours. I’m so grateful for this incredible community of smart, heartfelt, inspirational women!

Does your family share special holiday traditions? We sure do! We always have dinner with my Mom and family Christmas Eve, go to church and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. Christmas morning is all about Santa and the gifts. Family and friends join us for prime rib dinner on Christmas Day eve. Always a treat!

Christmas morning starts with coffee and total chaos! After Steve and I give the go ahead, the kids run downstairs to see what is under the tree. This year, the boys thought it was funny to run down the back stairs so I couldn’t video tape them coming down the stairs. Ughhh!

The week after christmas

What I like best about the holidays is the family traditions. Traditions make me feel comfortable because I like to know what to expect. The tough part of traditions is that is easy to feel depressed around the festive season,  noticing the void left by people who aren’t around anymore. Not just people animals too. We really missed our Lucky dog this Christmas. He always opened our presents for us, one by one.

The week after Christmas is relaxing but feels strange to me.  I get really lazy, sleep in, take time to relax and lose track of what day it is. I am sending  wishes to you for the same level of relaxation. I know we can all use it!

If you celebrate Hanukkah, you are in the midst of your celebrations. The good news is there is lots of great deals to take advantage of if you are still doing your shopping.

I want let you know how much I appreciate all of you and I pray that you have time with friends and family you love. Stay safe and take time for yourself so feel rejuvenated for the New Year ahead.

Many of my friends are escaping to warm tropical places or ski hills.  If that is you, enjoy your time away with your family.

Love to you all! I appreciate every one of you.
