Ingredients
Method
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or place a wire rack on top of the baking sheet.
- Stuff the dates.
- Open each pitted date and fill with about 1 teaspoon of goat cheese, cream cheese, or blue cheese.
- Gently press the date closed.
- Wrap with bacon.
- Wrap each stuffed date with a half slice of bacon.
- Secure with a toothpick.
- Bake.
- Arrange on the prepared baking sheet with a little space between each date.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Turn each date over and continue baking for another 10–15 minutes, until the bacon is crisp and caramelized.
- Serve.
- Let cool for 5 minutes.
- Drizzle with hot honey or balsamic glaze, if desired, and garnish with parsley.
